Our website uses Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This service collects anonymised usage data and does not use cookies for tracking purposes.

We may use essential cookies to ensure the proper functioning of our website. These cookies do not collect personal information and are necessary for the site to operate correctly.

Site search

When you use the search on this site, we record aggregate telemetry only: a bucketed length of your query (for example “4-10 characters”), the number of results it returned, and whether it returned none. We do not record the words you typed, a hash of them, a search identifier, or any other field that would let one search be linked to another or to a later click.

If a search returns no results, we offer an optional “Share this search to help us improve” action beneath the message. Only if you choose it do the words you entered leave your browser. They are sent to VG Tech Consulting through Vercel Analytics as a custom event and are used to improve search and decide what to write next. We add no account, session, or device identifier to it, and the data is kept under the Web Analytics retention period configured for our production project (currently 12 months). Please do not include personal or confidential information in a search you share; submissions containing email addresses, links, ID numbers, or key-like strings are rejected before they are sent.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services in the operation of our website and business: Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Cal.com (appointment scheduling), and email providers for communication.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data. We encourage you to review their policies directly.

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. When your information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and withdraw consent for communications at any time.
